Marian Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Smith (Duluth, Georgia), born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carter T. Smith, Jr.; her parents, E. M. "Jelly" and Mildred Touchberry; her sister Mitzie Rothermel; and her nephew Ross M. Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Blacker of Duluth and Margaret Middleton (Richard) of Duluth; her sisters, Nancy Gilmour (Jim) of Columbus, OH and Donna Roberts (Art) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Ryan Middleton and Shannon Middleton; and her brother-in-law Dave Rothermel of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; many cousins; and many dear friends.
