She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Lowry and Irene Lowry; her husband Jim Simons; her sister Jeanne Lowry Hornsby; her stepbrother David Bailey; and her stepchildren, Gaye Simons and Scott Simons.
She is survived by: her niece April Hornsby of Macon; her nephew Jesse Hornsby of Macon; her stepdaughter Kim Simons Cook (Luke) of Covington; her stepsister Sharon Barnett (Johnny) of Houston; and her brother-in-law Paul Hornsby of Macon. She is also survived by numerous cousins, close friends.
