It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James T. Hankins (Duluth, Georgia), who passed away on February 6, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James T. Hankins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Earl Hankins Sr. and Rhoda Barrett Hankins; and his siblings, Otis Hankins, Roy Hankins, Sidney Earl Hankins Jr., Nellie Hankins and Norma Jean Hankins.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Pitts Hankins; his children, James "Jimmy" Theodore Hankins Jr. (Priscilla Ruth Tanner) and Carol Hankins Aloisio (Victor Philip Jr); his grandchildren, Kimberly Michelle Hankins Vier (Matthew, James Theodore), Katie Aloisio Honeycutt (Bradley) and Victor Philip Aloisio III; and his great grandchildren, Ansley, Jackson, Hannah, Hailey, Victoria and Vivian.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be sent to Lee University, Cleveland, Tennessee.
