He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ruth Syers Pinkston; his children, James Keenan Pinkston, Jr. and Emily Joy Pinkston of Duluth, GA.; and his siblings, William Samuel Pinkston, Jr. of Greenville, SC, David Lester Pinkston of Tampa, FL and Elaine Joann Pinkston Moore of Riverview, MI.
