He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Marie Weaver Vineyard of Gatlinburg, TN; his parents, Henry Vineyard and Maggie Vineyard; his sister Mary Cook; and his niece Robin Singleton.

He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Elizabeth Hubbard, Angela Marie Vineyard and Dana Lyn Bort; his son-in-law Ed Bort; his grandchildren, Lara Hubbard, Eli, Elise and Tori Bort; his sisters, Wanda McElhaney, Ruby Bibbins and Betty Daniel; his nephews, Shane Cook and Kevin Daniel; and his niece Melissa Cameron.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack Vineyard's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
