He is survived by: his wife Bertha Dillard (Smallwood); his sister Mary Jo Dillard; his children, Tangela Johnson (John), Angela Smallwood Lacure (Joseph), Latonya Smallwood and Joey Smallwood, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Jason Anguiano (Natalya), Jonique Clemons, Crystal Harris (Patrick), André Gonzaque, Joey Smallwood, Jr., Rodney Smallwood (Erin), Jaqueria Gonzaque, Joseph Lacure, Jr., Christopher Brown, Jr., Jovunta Lacure, Isaiah Brown and Angel Brown. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
