He is survived by: his wife Elaine Johnson Norton of Duluth, GA; his son Matthew Bryant; his daughter-in-law Courtney Marcelo Norton of Atlanta, GA; his sister Tammi N. Harris of Winder, GA; his grandsons, Benjamin Norton of Atlanta, GA and Hudson Norton of Atlanta, GA; his sisters-in-law, Yvonne J. Hardy of Birmingham, AL and Dianne J. Powell of Pensacola, FL; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Harris of Winder, GA, Heather Powell of Winder, GA, Alyson Powell McCain, Leigh Claire Powell Kidd of Chantilly, VA, Dr. Gordon D. Hardy of Anniston, AL, Stephen C. Powell, III of Ward, AR and Bruce L. Hardy; and his pets, George and Gracie.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Duluth First United Methodist Church (3208 Duluth Hwy, Duluth, GA 30096).
