He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar John Brackett and Margaret Dobbs Brackett. He is survived by: his wife Vivien Crook Brackett; his children, James Edgar Brackett (Leigh) and Vicki Leigh Brackett; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Edgar Brackett (Rachael), Madison Leigh Brackett and Mary "Alissa" Brackett. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
