With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darrell Eardley Whitburn Sr. (Duluth, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Darrell Eardley is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Darrell Eardley's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Whitburn and Margaret Morley Whitburn; his close friend Richard Johnston (Dick); and his sister Barbara Stewart (Gary). He is survived by: his brother Bill Whitburn (Jill); his children, Mark Whitburn (Debbie), Darrell Whitburn Jr. (Cynthia), Wendi Hulme (Paul), Cindy Mailloux (Charles) and Melanie Adams; and his stepchildren, Tracy Walters, Debbie Stellatos (Mike) and Marcey Royster. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
