He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Corley Smith; and his wife Fay Smith. He is survived by: his children, Della Smith of Duluth, Dawn Leffin (Steve) of Milton and Walden Smith Jr. (Misti) of Acworth; his grandchildren, Corley Leffin, Madeline Smith and Danny Smith; his sister Diana Dyess of Savannah; his stepsons, Jonathan Presley (Megan) of Lawrenceville and Frank Presley of Lawrenceville; and his sister-in-law June Smith of St. Simons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
