He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Smith Tatum. He is survived by: his children, Mike Tatum (Terri) of Hiawassee, GA and Mickey Cook (Phillip) of Duluth; and his granddaughter Bridget Spitzer (David) of Lawrenceville.
