It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Harold Alligood of Dudley, Georgia, born in Rentz, Georgia, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ovid Alligood and Geneva B. Alligood; and his son Mark A. Alligood. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Adams Alligood of Dudley; his children, Rickey Alligood (Renee) of Rentz, Tommy Alligood (JoAnna) of Rentz, Susan Hattaway (Danny) of Dexter and Jim Kemp of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; his grandchildren, Corey Alligood (Jessi), Brian Alligood (Lynn), Cameron Alligood, Adrienne Alligood, Megan Slaughter (Matt) and Macy Tanner (Keith); his great grandchildren, J'Lyn Mullis, Kyla Alligood, Avery Grace Slaughter, Emery Quinn Slaughter, Daniel Tanner, Brady Tanner, Layla Tanner, Lyla Tanner, Hannah Tanner, Haley Tanner, Jasmine Rakestraw and Sharee Bradshaw; and his siblings, Doris Williamson and Donald Alligood (Mary Kathryn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
