It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Mae White of Dudley, Georgia, born in Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Love and Pearlie Mae Ashley (Abraham White); her daughter Susan McCrae; and her siblings, Bernice Banks, Johnnie Mae Love, Johnnie Frank Ashley, Sr. and Todie Love.
She is survived by: her close friend Ella Mae Ashely; her children, Rosetta Edmond, Roy James White, Sr., Nathan Stewart White (Alice), Evelyn Gwen Coney (Frankie), Tony Curtis White, Keith Brain White (Lynn), Rhonda Rochelle Nesbitt (Willie) and Denise Cantrell White; her sibling Lymn Love; and her friends, Ella Mae Ashley and Betty Mack. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
