He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mackey of Dublin; his children, Chris Mackey of Dublin, Lisa Mackey Watson (Tim) of Dudley and Scott Mackey (Candy) of Dublin; his niece Tish Boyd (Robert) of Dublin; his great-niece Paige Boyd of Dublin; his grandchildren, Kyle Mackey (Mary Rose) of Albany, Andrew Mackey of Grundy, VA, Jon Mackey of Macon, Jacob Watson of Dudley, Morgan Watson of Macon, Jordan Mackey of Dublin and Phillip Crosby of East Dublin; and his great grandchild Sean Mackey of Albany.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dublin Memorial Gardens.
