He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henry Coleman and Mary Ethel Wyatt Coleman; his wife Betty Brown Coleman; his brother Truitt Coleman; his brother-in-law Jerrell Brown; his daughters, Patti Falco (Mike) and Kay Hughes (Ken); his grandchildren, Josh Smith, Crystal Taylor (Patrick) and Brock Smith (Kristy); and his great grandchildren, Lacy Taylor, Ashton Smith, Coleman Smith and Jacob Smith.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Coleman Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A committal service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (2075 Rock Springs Rd, Dublin, GA 31021).
