He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Luther Smith and Betty Dean Smith; and his uncle Delmar Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Smith Edwards (Chad) of Hartsville, SC; his brothers, Robert Smith (Judy) of Dublin, GA, Oscar Smith (Saralyn) of Dublin, GA and David Smith (Debby) of Dublin, GA; his grandsons, Patrick Bailey (Alyse) of Central, SC, Michael Bailey III of Hartsville, SC and Griffin Tyner of Hartsville, SC; and his great grandchildren, Tegan, Stella, Norah, Charlie, Ellie, Elliott, Spencer, Arianna, Isabella and Erys.
