She was predeceased by: her parents, William Etheridge Myers and Geneva Warren Myers; her husband Alfred Burney Knight; her daughter Valerie Knight Page; and her brother Gene Myers.
She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Knight Smith (Andy) of Dexter; her granddaughters, Jenna Smith Williams (Dusty) of Rincon, GA and Jamie Lynn Smith (Mitchell) of Dexter, GA; her great grandchildren, Cam, Avery Williams and Mallie Smith; her sister-in-law Fay Myers of Dexter; and her extended family Kenny Register (Lynn) of Dexter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A committal service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery (GA-338, Dexter, GA 31019). A burial was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at the same location.
