It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lamar Loftin in Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Loftin and Emmie Sue Strickland Loftin; and his brothers, Thomas, George and Robert Loftin.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Loftin of Dublin; his children, Kip Loftin (Dawn) of Dublin and Stephanie Whaley (Sean) of Hampstead, NC; his sister Isabelle Johnson of Rockledge, GA; his grandchildren, Kellie Loftin of Athens, GA, Heather Loftin (Nick) of Dublin, Shane and Sam Whaley of Hampstead, NC; and his great grandchild Charlie Dawn Lassiter of Dublin, GA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
