He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kemp and Anna Kemp; his children, Edde Kemp, Christine Williams and Bobbie Jean Barnes; and his siblings, Laura Pearl Wright, Irene Kemp (Rena), Joe Washington and Ira C. Kemp.
He is survived by: his children, Freddy Kemp, Ricky Kemp, Wanda Ashley and A. W. Haines; and his grandchildren, Rodney Williams, Marvin Bell, Jeff Kemp, Gareaun Barnes, Banika Barnes, Tamika Kemp, Rabsha Kemp and Ricky Kemp, Jr.. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Washington Street Presbyterian Church (975 S Washington St, Dublin, GA 31021).
