He is survived by: his wife Lavelle Carr Tarpley; his children, Penny Walker of Dexter, Lance Tarpley of Dublin and Craig Ayres of Dublin; his brothers, Marvin Tarpley (Sue) of Dublin and Harvey Tarpley (Sylvia) of Statham; his mother-in-law Annett Carr; and his sister-in-law Joany Harden (Wayne) of Dublin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
