He is survived by: his close friend Diana "Dee" Scott; his son David "DJ" Scott; his sisters, Peggy Reed (Larry), Jo Ann Manning (Buster) and Betty Brown (Keith); and his grandchildren, Madelyn Rhae Scott, Emri Claire Scott and Nash Harrison Scott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Scouts of America in Mac's honor.
