He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Attaway, Sr. and Bessie Price Attaway; his former wife Evonn Poole Attaway; and also, Grace Attaway, Lansing Attaway, Wilbur Attaway, James Attaway and Eugene Attaway.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta L. Attaway of Wrightsville; his stepdaughters, LaJune May (Sammie) of Surfside Beach, SC, Renee Day of Myrtle Beach, SC and Andrea Purvis (Russ) of Dublin; and his brother Paul H. Attaway, Jr. of Wrightsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at the Westview Cemetery.
