He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Echols and Lizzie Mae Echols; his brother Richard Allen Echols; his brother-in-law Richard "Gene" Garner; and his niece Kirsten O'Quinn.
He is survived by: his son Robert Andrew Echols; his sisters, Bertie Garner and Terri Garnto (Emory); his niece Stephanie O'Quinn; and his nephews, Stephen Garner, Eric Garnto and Andrew Garnto.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Assembly of God (2110 Claxton Dairy Rd, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Dublin Memorial Gardens (2986 US-80, Dublin, GA 31021).
