We bid farewell to Larry Allison in Dublin, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Allison and Jennie Allison; and his siblings, Jerry, Pat, Bob Allison and Dorothy Hepburn.
He is survived by: his wife Debby Allison of Dublin; his children, Laray Allison (Shannon) of Dublin, Shawn Allison of Dublin, Esha Potter (Kelly) of Columbia, SC and Chantel Allison of Dublin; his grandchildren, Dylan Allison of Dublin, Dakota Allison (Tranae) of Pembroke, GA, Darci Allison of Dublin and Cynthia Allison of Dublin; his great grandchildren, Juno Allison of Duluth and Rhys Allison of Pembroke; and his siblings, Sue Hallderman of Ponatoc, MS, Doris Stanberry of Johnson City, TN, Deborah Farmer of Medford, OR and Ron Allison of Pittsburg, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A committal service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (2025 Mt Carmel Church Ln, Canton, GA 30114). The military honors will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Church, 900 Hillcrest Pkwy, Dublin, GA 31021.
