He is survived by: his sister Mary Alice Durden (Dennis) of Lyons; his sister-in-law Gail Johnson of East Dublin; his nieces and nephews, Sabrina Woodruff (Andy) of Lyons, Ivan Johnson (Rebecca) of East Dublin, Marcia Lynn Watkins (Andy) of Dublin and Victor Johnson (Katie) of East Dublin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chan Johnson (Makayla), Andrew Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Madison Johnson, Drew Woodruff, Lindsey Johnson and Presley Gayle Johnson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A burial was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at the Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (1589 Old Savannah Rd, East Dublin, GA 31027).
