She was predeceased by: her brother Deacon Denson; her parent Linnie Mae Kemp O'Neal; her husband Ira Edwards, Sr.; her son Alonzo Deron Edwards; and her siblings, Denson O'Neal, Jr., Gladys O. Carswell, James "Lindberg" O'Neal and Grace McCloud.
She is survived by: her child Evang; her daughter-in-law Carol B. Edwards; her sister-in-law Helen Edwards; and her caregivers, Linda Dassie, Mary Walker, Mary McGirt, Geraldine James and Annie Johnson.
