With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Carter Peacock of Dublin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jeffrey Louis Peacock Sr.; her son Travis Peacock; her parents, Ophelia Brown and Thomas Cross (Dorothy); and her brothers, Jack Brown and William Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Kareem Lucas, Plakisia Peacock, Jeffrey L. Peacock Jr. and Randy Peacock-Bowman (Rodney); her grandchildren, Dontavious Coney, Ceonte Coney, Dontia Peacock, Denazhay Peacock, Davon Peacock, Kayla Peacock, Zoey Floyd, Autumn Peacock-Bowman and Khloe Peacock-Bowman; her significant other Reginald Anderson; her siblings, Satara Cross, Gary Cross, Deyana Cross, Allen Cross, David Cross, Tony Cross, Terry Williams and Ivory Cross; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Swint and Valencia Walker (Daryle). She is also survived by family members, including nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (1824 Claxton Dairy Rd, Dublin, GA 31021).
