She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Tipton and Lyma Tipton; her spouse Amberce "Andy" Thigpen; and her siblings, Donald, Russell Tipton and Dot Lowery (Iris).
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Thigpen (Angela) of St. Petersburg, FL and Marcia Johnson of Melbourne, FL; her grandchildren, Kylie Kinsler (Ryan), Jessica Thigpen, Christopher Johnson (Madeline) and Daniel Thigpen; her great grandchildren, Roland Morrow, Cooper Kinsler, Parker Johnson and Warren Kinsler; and her sisters, Bonnie Nell Cunningham, Nancy Snyder and Kaye Couey.
