It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Haynes of Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rowe Coot Kellam, Sr. and Pennie Wee Stanley Kellam; her husband Thad Haynes; her stepson Cayla Haynes; and her siblings, Lizzie Dean Butler, James Kellam and Rowe Coot Kellam, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Larkins (Raymond) and Jeffery Smith (Stephanie); her stepchildren, Ricky Gillespe Mobley (Toby), Curtis Smith (Brenda), Bobbie Jean Stuckey, Angela Evans (Kenneth), James Smith, Jr., Elizabeth Wright (Frankie), James Smith, III, Rotha Haynes and Marika Haynes; her siblings, Juanita Coney, Lewis Kellam (Alma) and Sarah Kellam; and her in-laws, Gladys Haynes, Delois Davis (Jerry), Ann Corbett, Dorothy Corbett, Ellen Smith (Eugene), Lisa Corbett, Edna Wells (Kenneth), Willy T. Haynes, James L. Haynes, Willie Corbett, A. W. Haynes (Florence) and Lynn Haynes Corbett. She is also survived by eight godchildren, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Williams Chapel Baptist Church (1142 GA-29, East Dublin, GA 31027).
