He is survived by: his wife Debra Reid Higgs; his sons, Edwin Lee Higgs, Jr. (Carla), Jacob Higgs and Henry Higgs (Callie); his siblings, Linda DeRosa (Troy), Wayne Higgs (Lois) and Gerald Higgs (Lesley); and his pet Doc Holliday. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanley Funeral Home - Dublin (1320 US-441, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (348 Shady Grove Rd, East Dublin, GA 31027).
