He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Doc" Edward Ussery and Annie Vera Wyatt Ussery; and his brother James "Jim" Ussery. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Moore Ussery of Dublin; his daughters, Terri Lynne Raley (Joe) of Adrian and Sherri Lee Howard (Mike) of Dublin; his grandchildren, Colby Hunter Manning and Brittany Howard Roof (Christopher); his sisters-in-law, Telva Chafin, Marianne Moore and JoAnn Moore; and his nephew Jay Ussery (Helen).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Northview Cemetery (1301 N Franklin St, Dublin, GA 31021). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Ussery to TLC Casa at P.O. Box 16322, Dublin, GA 31040.
