He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Dee Copeland and Mattie Lee Wilson Copeland; his great grandchild Lane Claxton; and his siblings, Cecil Copeland, May Copeland and Faye Copeland.
He is survived by: his wife Frankie Soles Copeland of Adrian; his children, Rickey Copeland of Wrightsville and Deanna Copeland Claxton (Neil) of Adrian; his grandchildren, Clay Claxton (Valya) of Adrian, Ashley Copeland of Dublin, Hayley Roberts (Jon) of Adrian and Jasmine Copeland of Dublin; his great grandchildren, Vayda Laine Roberts and May Elizabeth Roberts; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Copeland of Wrightsville, Dianne Malcolm of Wrightsville and Mike Soles (Connie) of Wrightsville; his niece Denise Copeland Martin of Kite; and his cousins, Grayson Wilson of Adrian and Shirley Sumner of Dublin.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Of the Nazarene Cemetery.
