He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Claxton and Georgia Snell Claxton; his sisters, Mary Ann Williams and Catherine McCullen; and his wife Linnie B. Claxton.
He is survived by: his sons, Calvin Claxton (Rose) of Wrightsville, John Claxton (Jennifer) of Richmond Hill and Mike Claxton, II of Blue Springs, NE. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The military honors will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rehoboth Cemetery.
