He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Seaton Powell; his brother Judson Powell (Julie) of St. Simons Island, GA; his siblings-in-law, Bob Seaton, William Seaton (Cynthia) of Cohutta, GA and Cecilia Bridges of Cohutta, GA.; and his friends, Brant New (Susan) of Dublin, Bob Brandes (Sandy) of Canton, GA, Charlie Fuller of Canton, David McKinnon (Cheryl) of Cornelia, GA and Jack Heidler (Suzanne) of Dublin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021).
