With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Duker Zachmeyer (Douglasville, Georgia), born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Henry Zachmeyer and Mary Josephine Duker Zachmeyer; his wife Julie Catherine Zachmeyer; and his brother Russell Zachmeyer. He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Shanda Zachmeyer) and Jeff Zachmeyer (Jennifer Zachmeyer) of Dallas, C. J.; his sister Sherry Letchford; his brother-in-law Lee Letchford of Carefree, AZ; and his grandchildren, Tate, Maisie, Cari, Amberlee, Jeffery, Ashlee, Brandon, Cole and Halle. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
