She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Ernest Reid. She is survived by: her parents, Herbert John Brewer and Emma Jo Chitwood Brewer of Jonesboro, Georgia; her husband Chuck Goolsby of Douglasville, Georgia; her son Jesse Ian Brewer of Macon, Georgia; her siblings, Theresa (Wayne Howard), Brenda (Roger Mix), Sandra Reid of Alpharetta, Wanda Brewer of Jonesboro, Georgia and Robert; her sister-in-law Sharon Brewer of Jonesboro, Georgia; her mother-in-law Rene Vaughn of Douglasville; her sister-in-law Christy Goolsby of Douglasville, Georgia; and her father-in-law Eddie Goolsby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was a volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the VFW.
