She was predeceased by: her father Robert Dean Ping; and her husband James Ricky Dempsey. She is survived by: her sons, Zachary Dempsey, Nathan Dempsey (Jodi) and Keith Dempsey (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Wesley Dempsey, Jr., Grace Dempsey, Kenzie Dempsey, Will Mannino, Preston Dempsey, Madison Dempsey, Wesson Overstreet and Skylar Dempsey; her mother Louise Ping; and her siblings, Robbie Ping, Judy Bruner, Rhonda Grigsby, Valerie Shirley and Cathy Campbell.
