She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Duty and Polly Mae Duty; her husband James Swafford; her children, Jeannette Thibodeaux and James Darren Swafford; her brother David Duty; her granddaughter Stephanie Trujillo; her great grandchild Devin Haynes; her sisters, Patsy Duty and Wanda Teal; and her children-in-law, Colleen Swafford and L. T. Thibodeaux.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Bert, Debbie Haynes (Tim) of Douglasville, Denice Swafford of Douglasville and Shane Swafford of Villa Rica; and her brother Bobby Duty (Jeanine) of Alabama. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
