He is survived by: his wife Sandra McMullen Nichols; his brother Paul Nichols; his sisters-in-law, Pat Starr, Carolyn Bell, Brenda Holland and Jean Holcomb; and his nieces and nephews, Lynne Simpson, Anne Nichols, Felicia Nichols, Danny Nichols, Kevin Nichols, Greg Nichols, Chris Nichols, Reggie Nichols, Laurie Collins, Mandy Brown, Eddie Nichols, Angie Moody and Pat Mims.
