He was predeceased by: his parents, L. A. Morris and Loretta Oliver Morris. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Kidd Morris; his daughter Amy Morris Spiva (Anthony Ray); his grandchildren, Rex Bailey Spiva and Sydney Rae Spiva; and his brother Richard Morris (Benny). He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville (9190 Campbellton St, Douglasville, GA 30134).
