He is survived by: his wife Tammy Merritt; his sons, Ray Merritt Jr. (Laura), Brandon Jones (Christy) and Joshua Merritt (Chandler); his grandchildren, Racheal, Amanda, Chelsie, Landon, Caroline, Caleb, Brodie and Elam; and his sister Elaine Callahan. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
