He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Chapman Massey; his wife Barbara Massey; his grandson Michael Massey; and his brothers, Billy Massey, Andrew Massey and James Massey.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Massey (Clara), Scott Massey (Paula) and Kim Goss (Tim Blair); his grandchildren, Jamie Locklear (Andy), John Massey (Kassi), Cody Massey (Brittany), Chris Massey, Jennifer Massey (John McNew), Jeffrey Massey, Kaley Goss (Daniel Posada) and Mark Goss; and his sister Betty Langston.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
