He was predeceased by: his father Larry Nails. He is survived by: his mother Dianne Nails; his brother Jason Nails; and his sons-in-law, Aaron Jerkins and Matt Leahey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many great friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crossroads Church (5960 Stewart Pkwy, Douglasville, GA 30135). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
