She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Murrol Forrister and Betty Jean Singleton Forrister; her son Richard Gregory Byrom; and her siblings, Robert Lee Forrister, John Geran Forrister and Renea Jane Forrister Puckett.
She is survived by: her husband William "Gary" Pace; her son Glen Byrom; and her sister Brenda Merle Forrister. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cedartown Northview Cemetery (71 Woodall Rd, Cedartown, GA 30125).
