She was predeceased by: her parents, Paula Garza and Roberto C. Rutledge; her husband Richard Leland Delay, Sr.; her grandson Karim Sidik; and her sisters, Belen Watts, Pearl Bean, Angelica Olivares and Rachel Lambeth.
She is survived by: her children, Hilda Delay and Dr. Richard Delay, Jr.; her brother Sgt. Ricardo Rutledge (Alma); her grandchildren, Zaheen Sidik, Cole Delay and Parker Delay; and her niece Gloria Galvan (Robert, family: Hope Watts, Paula Moffitt). She is also survived by several great-nephews and nieces, great-great nephews and nieces and her many beloved friends.
