With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kendrick Kerell McClendon of Douglasville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 24. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Kendrick Kerell leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Kendrick Kerell may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, Geemata Wills and Shane Stitt; his son Carter McClendon; and his siblings, Gibrill McClendon, Kariatu Jabbie (Abu Fofanah), Haley Stitt and Maimouna Laila Millsap.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
