As Johnny departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Johnny may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Johnny leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Eli Cole and Ester Eula Parson Cole; his wife Mary Adeline Blackston Cole; and his sister Georgia Ezell Mayfield. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Billy, Mildred Baxter of Centre, AL, Raymond and Laverne Baxter of Dallas; and his nieces and nephews, Vicky Bean, Cherie Lester, Lisa Cole, Terry Mayfield and Mike Cole.
