She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Mathis; her parents, Hodges Horace Prince and Eunice Prince (Lord); and her brother Clyde Prince. She is survived by: her children, Gail Bateman (Chip), Sue Glaze (Mansell), James "Buddy" Mathis (Teresa), Ricky Mathis and Chad Mathis; and her brother Van Prince (Gayle). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other extended family.
