He is survived by: his wife Mary Raley Smith; his children, Rebecca McGarva (Paul) and Michael Smith (Chelsie); his grandchildren, Shannon McGarva, Sam Winters, Abigail Smith, Sarah Smith, Joshua Smith and Joseph Smith; and his brother Garry Smith (Sue).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens (11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134).
