He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee and Celia Jones Hood; his wife Virginia Daniel Hood; his siblings, Robey Lee and Bessie Lou; and his children, Eric Charles and Lorrie Gouse.
He is survived by: his daughter Renee Clark (Rick). He is also survived by son, Art Hood (Kim), 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mozley Memorial Gardens (3180 S Sweetwater Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122).
